Record → Create
AI-generatedSummary
Create records in a selected AITable datasheet. Choose JSON mode to submit raw record objects or Field Mapper mode to map values into datasheet fields; the node sends a single create request for each incoming item.
Inputs
- Space (required) — Select the space containing the datasheet.
- Datasheet (required) — Select the datasheet where records will be created.
- Data Mode — Choose JSON (default) to provide raw records, or Field Mapper to map values directly to datasheet fields.
- Records (required) — In JSON mode, provide an array of record objects with a fields object. Create 1–10 records per request; field keys are names by default or IDs when Use Field IDs is enabled.
- Use Field IDs — In JSON mode, choose whether record field keys are sent as field IDs instead of names. Defaults to false.
- Fields (required) — In Field Mapper mode, map at least one value to a field from the selected datasheet. Mapper writes use field IDs.
- Output Field Keys — In Field Mapper mode, choose whether returned record fields use names (default) or IDs as keys.
Output shape
A list of created record items, with each item containing a record object returned by the API.
JSON mode returns the API's record field keys as provided. In Field Mapper mode, returned field keys are converted to names by default; choosing Field IDs leaves them as IDs. Each output is paired with its incoming item. If continue-on-fail is enabled, failures produce an item with an error message.
Examples
Example 1: Create records with JSON
Select a space and datasheet, keep Data Mode set to JSON, and provide 1–10 objects in Records, each with a fields object such as {"Name":"Example"}.
Example 2: Create a record with Field Mapper
Select Field Mapper, assign values to one or more loaded datasheet fields, then choose whether returned field keys should be names or IDs.
