Summary

Send an image message to a specified chat via WhatsApp using the WhatGHL API, with selectable sender session and optional caption and reply message.

Inputs

• Session Mode (required) — Choose how WhatGHL selects the sender session: Auto, By Session Name, or Select Session (recommended).
• Session — Select a specific session ID from available sessions (required if Session Mode is 'Select Session').
• Session Name — Specify a WAHA session name to use as sender (required if Session Mode is 'By Session Name').
• Chat ID (required) — The destination chat ID for the image message (e.g., from trigger data).
• Media URL (required) — Public URL of the image to send; must point to an accessible image file.
• Content — Optional text caption to send along with the image.
• Caption — Optional caption for the image.
• Reply To — Optional message ID to which this image message will reply.

Output shape

a single JSON object reflecting the API response for the send image message action.

The output contains JSON data showing the result of the send operation. An error is thrown if required fields are missing or invalid. The node requires authenticated API credentials and properly specified session information based on the chosen Session Mode.

Examples

Example 1: Send an image to a WhatsApp chat using the auto session selection mode.

Set Session Mode to 'Auto', provide Chat ID, Media URL, and optional caption; no need to specify Session or Session Name.

Example 2: Send an image using a specific session name.

Set Session Mode to 'By Session Name', enter the session's WAHA name, provide Chat ID and Media URL; optionally add caption or reply message ID.
