Summary

Send a video status update to WhatsApp via WhatGHL API using a selected session.

Inputs

• Session Mode (required) — Determine the method to select the sender session: Auto (default backend selection), By Session Name (specify WAHA session name), or Select Session (choose from sessions available for the API key).
• Session — If 'Select Session' mode is chosen, select the session from available sessions loaded dynamically from the WhatGHL API.
• Session Name — If 'By Session Name' mode is chosen, specify the WAHA session name as sender (e.g. Session1-0da2bdfd or via expression).
• Media URL (required) — Provide a public URL to the video file to be sent as the WhatsApp status.
• Caption — Optional caption text to accompany the video status.
• Status Background Color — Optional background color for the status display in hex format (e.g., #38b42f).
• Convert Media — If enabled, the video will be converted to a WhatsApp-compatible format on the provider's side.

Output shape

a single JSON response object from the WhatGHL API representing the sent video status action, paired with the input item.

The operation requires WhatGHL credentials (baseUrl, apiKey). Session selection is mandatory except in Auto mode. Media URL must be a publicly accessible video URL. Optional caption and background color can be provided. The node sends a POST request to the /actions endpoint with action 'send_status_video', returning the API response JSON.

Example 1: Send a video status with auto session selection

Set Session Mode to Auto, provide a valid Media URL, optionally add Caption and Status Background Color, and disable Convert Media if not needed.
