Summary

Send a text-based status update through the WhatGHL API using a selected WhatsApp session.

Inputs

• Session Mode (required) — Choose how to select the WhatsApp sender session: Auto (default backend selection), By Session Name (specific WAHA session), or Select Session (pick from API key sessions).
• Session — When Session Mode is 'Select Session', choose a specific session from available sessions for the API key.
• Session Name — When Session Mode is 'By Session Name', specify the exact WAHA session name, e.g. 'Session1-0da2bdfd' or use an expression.
• Content (required) — Text content of the status update to send.
• Status Background Color — Optional background color for the status update in hexadecimal format (e.g., '#38b42f').
• Status Font — Optional font index for the status text; must be a non-negative integer.

Output shape

a single JSON object per input item representing the API response confirming the status post or describing any errors

Requires valid WhatGHL API credentials with baseUrl and apiKey. The node posts to /actions with payload including action:'send_status_text', the text content, optional font and background color, and session identification. Throws errors on missing required parameters or invalid session selection. Output contains API response body.

Examples

Example 1: Send a text status with auto-selected session

Set 'Session Mode' to 'Auto' and enter the status 'Content' text to post.

Example 2: Send a status using a specific session name with custom background and font

Set 'Session Mode' to 'By Session Name', specify the exact session name, enter status 'Content', and optionally set 'Status Background Color' and 'Status Font'.
