Summary

Adds a text watermark to an image provided as base64 content, a URL, or binary data from an earlier node. Configure the watermark text and its placement and appearance; the result is returned as binary image data.

Inputs

• Input Image Data Type (required) — Choose Base64 String, Binary Data, or URL as the image source.
• Input Binary Field (required) — For Binary Data input, the name of the incoming binary property; defaults to data.
• Base64 Image Content (required) — For Base64 String input, the encoded image content.
• Image URL (required) — For URL input, the image file URL.
• Output File Name — Name for the watermarked image output; defaults to image_with_text_watermark.jpg.
• Watermark Text — Text to apply as the watermark; defaults to PDF4me Sample Text.
• Text Position — Choose a preset position or Custom; defaults to Bottom Left.
• Font Family — Watermark font family; defaults to Arial.
• Font Size — Watermark font size; defaults to 50.
• Text Color — Watermark color in hex format; defaults to #b4351a.
• Bold — Whether the watermark text is bold; defaults to true.
• Underline — Whether the watermark text is underlined; defaults to false.
• Italic — Whether the watermark text is italic; defaults to true.
• Opacity — Text opacity from 0 to 1; defaults to 1.
• Rotation Angle — Watermark text rotation angle; defaults to 0.
• Position X — X coordinate when Text Position is Custom; defaults to 0.
• Position Y — Y coordinate when Text Position is Custom; defaults to 0.
• Binary Data Output Name — Name of the binary property in the output; defaults to data.

Output shape

A binary image file in the n8n output item.
