Summary

Create a ZUGFeRD invoice from XML, JSON, or CSV invoice data, optionally rendering it on a PDF. Configure the ZUGFeRD version, conformance profile, language, and output mode to generate an XML file or an invoice PDF with embedded XML.

Inputs

• Invoice data (required) — Choose XML, JSON, or CSV, then provide the invoice data as direct text, base64, a binary property from an incoming item, or a URL.
• Input document — Optionally provide a document as base64, a binary property, or a URL when needed to render the invoice on a PDF. Select None when no document input is needed. The binary property name defaults to data.
• Document Name (required) — Name of the document; defaults to invoice.pdf.
• Output Mode (required) — Choose XML Only or XML With PDF; defaults to XML With PDF.
• Zugferd Version (required) — Choose 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, or Custom. Custom versions also require a version string and a conformance rule set.
• Conformance Level (required) — Select a profile appropriate to the chosen version. ZUGFeRD 1.0 offers BASIC, COMFORT, and EXTENDED; versions 2.0 and later offer MINIMUM, BASICWL, BASIC, EN16931, EXTENDED, and XRECHNUNG.
• Language (required) — Invoice language: Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, or Spanish.
• Render Invoice On PDF (required) — Whether to render the invoice visually on the PDF; defaults to true.
• Output File Name — Name for the generated file; defaults to zugferd_invoice.pdf.
• Output Binary Field Name — Binary property name for the output file; defaults to data.
• Advanced Options — Optional custom Profiles JSON for extra API properties.

Output shape

A generated invoice file returned as binary data on the output item.

The selected output mode determines whether the file contains only XML or XML embedded in a PDF. The output binary property name is configurable and defaults to data.
