Summary

Merge PDF documents into one PDF using manually configured files, an array of PDF values, or the binary data on all input items. The operation sends the collected files to PDF4me and returns the merged document as binary output.

Inputs

  • PDF Input Source — Choose Add Manually, From Array, or All Input Items. The default is Add Manually.
  • PDF Files — For Add Manually, add one or more PDFs and choose Binary Data, Base64 String, or URL for each. Binary Data uses the configured binary property name (default data); Base64 String uses Base64 Content; URL uses PDF URL. File Name is an optional reference name.
  • PDF Array — For From Array, provide an expression that returns an array of PDFs. Array Content Type specifies whether entries are URLs, base64 strings, or objects with a URL or base64 property.
  • Binary Property Name — For All Input Items, name the binary property holding a PDF on each input item (default data). Input items are used in order.
  • Output File Name — Name for the merged PDF file (default merged_output.pdf).
  • Document Name — Reference name for the output document (default merged_output).
  • Advanced Options — Custom Profiles accepts profile JSON for extra PDF4me API properties.
  • Binary Data Output Name — Binary property name for the resulting PDF (default data).

Output shape

A single n8n item containing the merged PDF as binary data.

The binary property name is configurable. PDFs are combined in the order they are supplied; for All Input Items, that is input-item order.
