Summary

Creates or updates a customer in Richpanel

Inputs

• customerFields — Collection of customer data fields to include in the request. All fields are optional; typically at least one identifier (uid, appClientId, or email) is provided to locate or create the customer.

Output shape

The customer record returned by the Richpanel API as JSON

The response shape depends on Richpanel's /customers endpoint; no additional transformation is applied by the node.

Examples

Example 1: Create a new customer with email and name

Set Customer Fields > Email to 'user@example.com' and Name to 'John Doe'. The node POSTs { customer: { email: 'user@example.com', name: 'John Doe' } } to Richpanel.

Example 2: Update an existing customer's billing address

Set Customer Fields > billingEmail, billingAddressLine1, billingCity, billingState, billingCountry, and billingPostcode. The node includes only the provided fields in the POST body.
