Summary

Sends media messages (image, video, document, audio) to WhatsApp contacts or groups using a publicly reachable URL.

Inputs

• Session ID (required) — WhatsApp phone number in E.164 digits, no + sign (e.g. 919876543210).
• Target Type — Recipient type: 'number' (contact), 'groupId' (group ID), or 'groupName' (case-insensitive group subject match).
• Recipient Number (required) — E.164 digits (no + sign) or a contact JID. Required if Target Type is 'number'.
• Group ID (required) — Group JID ending in @g.us. Required if Target Type is 'groupId'.
• Group Name (required) — Case-insensitive group subject match. Required if Target Type is 'groupName'.
• File URL (required) — Publicly reachable URL for the media file. Mime type is detected from response headers.
• Caption — Optional text caption to accompany the media.

Output shape

A single record containing the API response (usually success status and message details).

If the API returns a paginated data structure, it is unwrapped into individual items.
