Summary

Sends a text message via WhatsApp using a configured session.

Inputs

• sessionId (required) — WhatsApp phone number in E.164 digits, no + sign (e.g. 919876543210).
• number (required) — Recipient phone in E.164 digits (no + sign).
• message (required) — The plain text message to send.
• htmlMessage — Optional rich-text companion (sanitized server-side).

Output shape

One item per input message containing the API response data.

If the API returns data in a data array, contacts array, or a flat array, the node maps each element into a separate item. If the API returns a single object, it is returned as a single item with success: true.

Examples

Example 1: Send a standard plain text message.

Set sessionId, number, and message fields.

Example 2: Send a message with a plain text body and an optional HTML fallback.

Populate sessionId, number, message, and optionally htmlMessage.
