Summary

Publishes a WhatsApp Status (story) for a specific session, supporting media uploads or text-only posts with custom styling.

Inputs

• sessionId (required) — WhatsApp phone number in E.164 digits, no + sign (e.g. 919876543210).
• fileUrl — Public image/video URL. Omit to create a text-only story.
• caption — Caption for media stories or the body text for text-only stories.
• backgroundColor — Background color for text stories.
• font — Font for text stories.

Output shape

a single record (success object or error envelope)

Returns a success object on success. If the API response contains a data array, those items are returned as records.

Examples

Example 1: Publish a text-only status with custom background and font

Set Session ID, Caption, Background Color, and Font parameters.

Example 2: Publish a media status with caption

Set Session ID, File URL, and Caption parameters (leave Background Color and Font empty).
