Summary

Updates an existing contact record in Zoho Bigin using a specified contact ID and optional fields.

Inputs

• contactId (required) — The ID of the contact to update.
• additionalFields — A collection of optional fields to update (e.g., Email, Phone, Mobile, Company, Title, Description, Street, City, State, Zip Code, Country). Only provided fields are modified.

Output shape

A single item containing the updated contact record (including the ID).

The operation uses the Zoho Bigin API's PUT endpoint. Only the fields provided in 'additionalFields' are updated; unspecified fields remain unchanged. The node returns the updated record data.

Examples

Example 1: Update a contact's email address and phone number.

Set Contact ID to the existing contact ID. In Additional Fields, provide Email and Phone.

Example 2: Update a contact's company, title, and address.

Set Contact ID. In Additional Fields, provide Company, Title, Street, City, State, Zip Code, and Country.
