Summary

Updates an existing task in Zoho Bigin using the task ID and optional fields.

Inputs

• taskId (required) — The ID of the task to update.
• additionalFields — A collection of optional fields to update on the task. Includes Status (default: Not Started), Priority (default: Normal), Due Date, Description, and Related To (What_Id).

Output shape

A single record containing the updated task data.

The operation sends a PUT request to Zoho Bigin's Tasks endpoint. Only the specified fields in 'additionalFields' are sent; omitted fields are preserved in Zoho Bigin.

Examples

Example 1: Update task status to In Progress

Set Task ID to the target task ID and Status to 'In Progress'.

Example 2: Update task due date and description

Set Task ID to the target task ID and set Due Date and Description fields.
