Summary

Create a new AI Agent with customizable settings including prompts, multi-channel communication configurations, branding, knowledge base integration, and lead capture fields.

Inputs

• Name (required) — Specifies the name of the agent being created.
• Agent Prompt — Defines an agent-specific prompt to tailor the agent's responses.
• Ai Contact Capture Enabled — Enables or disables passive AI extraction of contact information from conversations (default is true).
• Avatar Image — Sets a URL or base64-encoded image to use as the agent's avatar.
• Channel Settings — Configures multi-channel communication options such as website chat, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and voice, including enabling their use and specifying addresses or phone numbers.
• Contact List ID — Specifies the smart list ID where collected contacts will be stored.
• Custom Colors — Provides branding colors in hex code for primary, secondary, and background colors.
• Is Active — Indicates if the agent should be active upon creation (default is true).
• Knowledge Base Enabled — Toggles whether the agent answers questions using the knowledge base.
• Knowledge Base Scope — Limits the agent's knowledge base responses to a specific folder path.
• Lead Fields — Defines lead information fields with name, type (text, email, phone, number), and optional required flags.
• Model — Selects the AI model to use for the agent, defaulting to 'gpt-5-nano'.
• Multi Step Max Turns — Sets the number of tool-calling turns allowed before the agent must provide an answer, range 1-10 (default 5).
• Multi Step Tools Enabled — Enables the agent to chain multiple tool-calling actions, like knowledge base searches and integrations, across turns.
• System Prompt — Provides AI system-level instructions to guide the agent's behavior.

Output shape

A single record representing the newly created agent object.

Returns the created agent with all provided configuration. If parameters are omitted, defaults are applied as specified.
