Summary

Creates a table action for a list, or updates an existing action when an Action ID is supplied. The action uses update_rows mode to fill a cell on each row; optional conditions restrict which rows it runs on.

Inputs

• List ID (required) — ID of the list to configure.
• Action ID — UUID of an existing action or column to update. Omit to create a new action.
• Action Parameters (required) — JSON action configuration containing actionType and a name for the action column. Other fields depend on the action type; for example, an agent action can include goal and model.
• Auto Run Enabled — Whether to enable automatic runs of the action.
• Company ID — Company that owns the list. Required for personal access keys; may be required for company API keys when the user has access to multiple companies. For JWT authentication, defaults to the user's active company.
• Conditions — Optional JSON AND/OR tree of field comparisons that limits which rows the action runs on, for both automatic and manual runs. Condition fields are column names; the row must already contain the column except for is_empty and is_not_empty. Omitted, null, or empty filters and groups run on every row.

Output shape

A single API response record.

Examples

Example 1: Create an automatically run agent action for a list

Set List ID, provide Action Parameters with actionType, name, and agent-specific fields such as goal and model, then enable Auto Run Enabled.

Example 2: Update an existing action and limit it to matching rows

Supply the Action ID and Conditions containing comparisons against list column names.
