Summary

Updates an existing TurboDocx price book by applying new values to its metadata and product pricing configuration.

Inputs

• priceBookId (required) — UUID of the price book to update.
• updateFields — A collection of fields to update. Available fields include Name, Description, Is Default, Show in Quote Builder, Valid From, Valid To, Discount Percent, Price Book Type ID, and Product Pricing (JSON array).

Output shape

A single record containing the updated price book details.

The Product Pricing field replaces the existing pricing configuration entirely. If the price book does not exist, the operation may fail or return an error.

Examples

Example 1: Change the default status and name of a price book

Set priceBookId to the target UUID, check Name, uncheck Is Default, and set a new Valid From date.

Example 2: Update product pricing for specific items

Enter the priceBookId, set updateFields.productPricing to a JSON array (e.g., [{"productId":"uuid-1","discountPercent":10}]).
