Summary

Send an audio card message via the Microsoft 365 Agent connector.

Inputs

• authKind — Authentication method. Classic Bot uses Azure Bot resource + Entra App Registration; Agent 365 uses an Entra Agent Identity blueprint.
• conversationSource — Source of conversation routing info. Envelope works for replies/updates/deletes; manual is required for proactive sends.
• serviceUrl (required) — Bot Connector service URL (e.g., https://smba.trafficmanager.net/emea/). Required when conversationSource is manual.
• conversationId (required) — Conversation ID (e.g., 19:xxx@thread.tacv2 for Teams). Required when conversationSource is manual.
• channelId — Azure Bot Service channel the conversation belongs to. Options: Direct Line, Emulator, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Teams, Web Chat.
• activityId — Required only for Reply/Update/Delete against a specific activity. Leave empty for proactive sends.
• title (required) — Title of the audio card. Required for send and update operations.
• subtitle — Subtitle of the audio card.
• text — Main text content of the audio card.
• posterImageUrl — URL of a poster/preview image shown before playback.
• posterImageAltText — Alt text for the poster image.
• media — Media items for the audio card. Each item requires a URL and optionally a profile hint for quality/format.
• buttons — Button actions on the audio card. Types include Open URL, Play Audio/Video, IM Back, Post Back, etc. Each button requires a title and value, with optional channel data and display options.
• options — Additional audio card settings: aspect ratio, autoloop, autostart, duration (ISO-8601), fallback text, raw activity override (JSON), shareable flag, and opaque value object.
• identityMode — Identity mode for agent 365 auth. Autonomous acts as the Blueprint app identity; agentUser acts as the agent's own M365 user (requires separate license).
• userSelectorMode — Selector mode for agent user identity. By UPN uses agent username; By Object ID uses agent user ID.
• agentUsername — UPN of the agentic user. Required when identityMode is agentUser and userSelectorMode is byUpn.
• agentUserId — Object ID of the agentic user. Required when identityMode is agentUser and userSelectorMode is byObjectId.

Output shape

The n8n item passed through, with the constructed audio card activity payload available for downstream nodes.

Authentication kind and identity mode determine credential flow. Conversation source controls whether routing info comes from the current item envelope or must be supplied manually. All card content parameters (title, text, media, buttons) are optional except title, which is required for send/update operations.
