Summary

Updates an existing audio card attachment in a Microsoft 365 conversation.

Inputs

• authKind — Authentication method: Classic Bot (Azure Bot Service) or Agent 365 (Entra Agent Identity).
• conversationSource — Where to get the conversation reference: From Envelope (use previous item) or Specify Manually.
• serviceUrl (required) — Bot Connector service URL for the target channel (e.g., https://smba.trafficmanager.net/emea/). Required when Conversation Source is Manual.
• conversationId (required) — The conversation ID (e.g., 19:…@thread.tacv2). Required when Conversation Source is Manual.
• channelId — Azure Bot Service channel the conversation belongs to (Direct Line, Emulator, Microsoft Teams, etc.). Default: msteams. Shown when Conversation Source is Manual.
• activityId — ID of the activity to update. Leave empty for proactive sends.
• title (required) — Title displayed at the top of the audio card.
• subtitle — Subtitle displayed under the title.
• text — Main text body of the audio card.
• posterImageUrl — URL of a preview image shown before playback.
• posterImageAltText — Alternative text for the poster image.
• media — Collection of media items; each item requires a URL and optional profile hint.
• buttons — Actions displayed on the card; each button defines a type, title, value, and optional channel data, display text, image, etc.
• options — Additional card settings: aspect ratio, autoloop, autostart, duration (ISO‑8601), fallback text, raw activity override, shareable flag, and opaque value object.
• identityMode — For Agent 365 auth: whether the agent acts as its own app identity (Autonomous) or as a specific M365 user (Agent User Account). Default: autonomous. Shown when Auth Kind is Agent 365.
• userSelectorMode — How to specify the agent user when Identity Mode is Agent User Account: by UPN or by Object ID. Default: byUpn. Shown when Auth Kind is Agent 365 and Identity Mode is Agent User Account.
• agentUsername — UPN of the agentic user. Shown when Auth Kind is Agent 365, Identity Mode is Agent User Account, and User Selector Mode is By UPN.
• agentUserId — Object ID of the agentic user. Shown when Auth Kind is Agent 365, Identity Mode is Agent User Account, and User Selector Mode is By Object ID.
• agentUserNotice — Informational notice about licensing requirements for Agent User Account mode.

Examples

Example 1: Reply to a user's message with an updated audio card.

Set Conversation Source to From Envelope, provide Title, optionally Subtitle, Text, Media URLs, and Buttons.

Example 2: Proactively send an updated audio card to a Teams channel.

Set Conversation Source to Specify Manually, fill Service URL, Conversation ID, Channel ID (msteams), and supply the card fields.
