Summary

Sends a raw attachment to a Microsoft 365 conversation via the M365 Agent node.

Inputs

• authKind — Authentication kind for the M365 Agent connection. Options: Classic Bot (Azure Bot Service + Entra App) or Agent 365 (Entra Agent Identity). Default: classicBot.
• conversationSource — Where conversation routing info comes from. Options: From Envelope (uses conversationReference from current item, works for replies/updates/deletes) or Specify Manually (requires explicit service URL and conversation ID for proactive sends). Default: envelope.
• serviceUrl (required) — Bot Connector service URL for the target channel. Required when conversationSource is manual. Placeholder: https://smba.trafficmanager.net/emea/
• conversationId (required) — Conversation ID. For Teams channels this looks like 19:…@thread.tacv2. Use an expression such as {{ $JSON.channelId }} if stored upstream. Required when conversationSource is manual.
• channelId — Azure Bot Service channel the conversation belongs to. Options: Direct Line, Emulator, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Teams, Web Chat. Default: msteams.
• activityId — Required only for Reply / Update / Delete operations against a specific activity. Leave empty for proactive sends. Default: empty.
• contentType (required) — Attachment MIME type or card content type. Placeholder: application/vnd.microsoft.card.adaptive
• content (required) — Attachment content — the object that goes into Attachment.content. Default: ={}.
• options — Optional collection to override the constructed Activity body. Options: contentUrl (string), name (string), rawActivityOverride (string, must parse to a JSON object to replace constructed Activity body), thumbnailUrl (string).
• identityMode — Configure authentication identity mode. Options: Autonomous (Agent acts as its Blueprint app identity) or Agent User (Agent acts as its own M365 user, requires sidecar transport and separate license). Default: autonomous. Only shown when authKind is agent365, resource is rawAttachment, and operation is send.
• userSelectorMode — Select the agentic user mode. Options: By UPN or By Object ID. Default: byUpn. Only shown when authKind is agent365, resource is rawAttachment, operation is send, and identityMode is agentUser.
• agentUsername — UPN of the agentic user. Defaults to the credential's Default Agent Username. Placeholder: agent@contoso.shown when authKind is agent365, resource is rawAttachment, operation is send, identityMode is agentUser, and userSelectorMode is byUpn.
• agentUserId — Object ID of the agentic user. Placeholder: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. Shown when authKind is agent365, resource is rawAttachment, operation is send, identityMode is agentUser, and userSelectorMode is byObjectId.

Output shape

The sent Activity object or acknowledgment from the Microsoft 365 connector. Exact shape depends on authentication mode and channel configuration.

The operation constructs an Activity with the specified contentType and content JSON, resolves conversation routing, and dispatches via the selected authentication backend. Raw Activity Override allows replacing the constructed Activity body with arbitrary JSON for protocol fields not exposed in the UI.
