Summary

Update an existing Cakemail account by specifying its ID and providing the fields to modify.

Inputs

• Account ID — Optional account ID for multi-tenant operations; if omitted, uses the authenticated account.
• Target Account ID (required) — The ID of the account to update.
• Additional Fields — Fields to update on the account, including name, primary email, account type, parent account ID, status, language, timezone, currency, and settings as a JSON object.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the updated account.

The Additional Fields.settings input must be valid JSON; otherwise, an error will be thrown. If the Account ID is not provided, the authenticated account context is used. Update returns the updated account data.
