Summary

Create a new contact in Cakemail.

Inputs

• accountId — Optional: Specify an account ID for multi-tenant operations. If not provided, uses the authenticated account.
• email (required) — Email address of the contact. Must be a valid email format.
• additionalFields — Optional fields to provide additional contact information, including first name, last name, company, phone, mobile, language, timezone, tags, custom attributes, and list ID.

Output shape

a single record containing the created contact details

The contact will be created with the specified email and any additional fields provided. If 'list_id' is provided, the contact will be subscribed to that list automatically.

Examples

Example 1: Create a contact with only an email

Set email to 'user@example.com'.

Example 2: Create a contact with email and additional fields

Set email to 'user@example.com' and additional fields for first_name, last_name, company.
