Summary

Resends a DocuSign envelope to its recipients, re-triggering the notification email, optionally with a custom reason. The source pack shows only the handler name (handleEnvelopeResend), not its body, so the exact API call and return shape are not visible.

Inputs

• authentication — Auth method: JWT (Service Integration, default) or OAuth2 (User Authorization).
• envelopeId (required) — ID of the envelope to resend. Likely validated as a UUID, since the helpers include a UUID validator.
• resendReason — Optional reason for resending; per the field description it is included in the email.

Output shape

Most likely the DocuSign API response for the envelope update, returned as n8n item JSON. The handler body is not shown, so this is not confirmed.

Requests go through docuSignApiRequest, which retries on rate limits (429) and 5xx errors with backoff and throws an error on failure. The envelope should be in a sent state; DocuSign only resends to recipients who have not yet completed their action.
