Summary

Retrieves the tabs (form fields such as signature, date, text and checkbox fields) assigned to a specific recipient of a DocuSign envelope.

Inputs

• Authentication — How the node authenticates to DocuSign: JWT (Service Integration, the default) or OAuth2 (User Authorization).
• Envelope ID (required) — The ID of the envelope that contains the recipient.
• Recipient ID (required) — The ID of the recipient whose tabs should be returned.

Output shape

A single JSON record with the recipient's tabs, as returned by DocuSign. Tabs are grouped by type, for example signHereTabs, textTabs and dateSignedTabs.

The source pack shows only the handler name (handleRecipientTabsGet), not its body. The exact response shape is therefore inferred from the DocuSign recipient-tabs endpoint and isn't confirmed here. Only tab types present on the recipient are likely to appear. Invalid IDs or missing access produce an API error. The node retries on rate limits (429) and 5xx errors.

Examples

Example 1: Check which fields a signer was assigned on a sent envelope before sending a correction.

Example 2: Retrieve a recipient's tabs, edit them in a Code node, then push the changes back with Recipient Tabs > Update.
