Summary

Searches envelopes inside a chosen DocuSign system folder (e.g. Drafts, Inbox, Completed), with optional text, date range and status filters.

Inputs

• Search Folder (required) — System folder to search: Drafts, Awaiting My Signature, Completed, Out for Signature, Inbox, Sent Items, or Recycled. Defaults to Drafts.
• Return All — If true, returns all matching results. If false, the Limit applies.
• Limit — Maximum number of results to return (1–100, default 50). Shown only when Return All is off.
• Filters — Optional collection: Search Text (free-text envelope search), From Date and To Date (ISO 8601, e.g. 2025-01-01T00:00:00Z), and Status (created, sent, delivered, signed, completed, declined, voided).
• Authentication — Credential type used to call DocuSign: JWT (service integration, default) or OAuth2 (user authorization).

Output shape

A list of envelope records found in the selected folder that match the filters.

The source pack shows only the handler name (handleFolderSearch), not its body. The exact output fields and how filters map to the API are not visible. Results are presumably DocuSign envelope summaries, but that is unconfirmed. The Status filter's default value is 'completed' when it is added.

Examples

Example 1: List recent completed envelopes from a given period

Search Folder: Completed; Return All: off; Limit: 50; Filters: From Date 2025-01-01T00:00:00Z, To Date 2025-12-31T23:59:59Z.

Example 2: Find envelopes mentioning a customer in the sent items

Search Folder: Sent Items; Return All: on; Filters: Search Text 'Acme'.
