Summary

Set or update customer information in OnPrintShop by providing detailed customer data including optional fields and admin-only extra fields, supporting both creation and update operations.

Inputs

• safeMode — Optional boolean to block mutations in the Complete API context (default false).
• Input Mode (required) — Choose between providing customer data as individual fields or as a JSON object.
• Input (required) — Customer data fields such as first name, last name, email, company name, and other optional details in a structured collection format when using 'Fields' mode.
• Customer ID — Numeric ID of the customer to update (required for updates).
• Arguments JSON (required) — Full customer data as a JSON object when using 'JSON Object' input mode.
• Partial Response — Option on how to handle partial results with errors; either fail on errors or return partial data.
• Return Fields Mode — Option to select all response fields or a custom subset.
• Return Fields — Specific response fields to include when using custom selection mode, such as External Ref, ID, Message, and Result.

Output shape

a list of customer mutation result objects, each containing results such as id, external_ref, message, and result status

The output contains one response object per input item, specifying mutation outcome details. In the case of creation, the customer_id parameter is 0; for updates, customer_id must be set. Errors during execution throw exceptions or are included depending on the node's error handling configuration.

Examples

Example 1: Create a new customer

Set Registration Type, first name, last name, and email as required fields; optionally provide password and additional fields; leave Customer ID as 0 or unset.

Example 2: Update an existing customer

Provide the Customer ID and fields to update, such as email, name, company, or status; supply admin extra fields as JSON if necessary.
