Summary

Retrieve media items related to a specified Plex media item by its rating key, optionally limiting the number of related results.

Inputs

• Rating Key (required) — The unique rating key (ID) identifying the media item from which to retrieve related items.
• Options — Additional options to customize the request, currently supports Limit: maximum number of related results to return (default 10, max 100).

Output shape

a list of related media items as JSON objects

The results respect the optional Limit parameter; if unspecified, up to 10 related items are returned by default. The output consists of Plex media metadata objects corresponding to related items.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch up to 5 related media items for a given media rating key

Set Rating Key to the target media item's ID and set Options > Limit to 5.
