Summary

Search Plex Media Server for items matching a query string, optionally limiting results.

Inputs

• Query (required) — The search query string to find matching media items.
• Return All — Whether to return all results or only up to a given limit.
• Limit — Maximum number of results to return if not returning all.

Output shape

a list of media metadata items matching the query

If 'Return All' is true, all matching results are retrieved via pagination. Otherwise, results are limited to the 'Limit' parameter (default 50). Results are returned in the node's main output as JSON objects representing Plex media metadata.

Examples

Example 1: Search for 'Inception' and return up to 10 results.

Set Query to 'Inception', Return All to false, Limit to 10.
