Summary

Execute a specified Plex Butler task on the Plex Media Server, such as 'Refresh Libraries' or 'Optimize Database'.

Inputs

• Task Name (required) — Select which predefined Butler task to run on the Plex server. Available tasks include Backup Database, Build Gracenote Collections, Check For Updates, Clean Old Bundles, Clean Old Cache Files, Deep Media Analysis, Generate Auto Tags, Generate Chapter Thumbs, Generate Media Index Files, Optimize Database, Refresh Libraries, Refresh Local Media, Refresh Periodic Metadata, and Upgrade Media Analysis.

Output shape

A single JSON object containing the response from the Plex API after attempting to run the selected Butler task.

The response's exact structure depends on the Plex server's API reply; errors during execution will be returned in the output. No pagination applies.
