Summary

Retrieve a list of media items similar to a specified media item in Plex Media Server.

Inputs

• Rating Key (required) — The unique identifier (rating key) of the media item to find similar items for.
• Options — Optional parameters to customize the results, including the maximum number of similar items to return (Limit, default is 10, range 1-100).

Output shape

a list of media item records representing media similar to the specified item.

The number of results returned respects the optional Limit parameter, defaulting to 10 if not set. Results are retrieved from the Plex API endpoint for similar media to the given rating key.

Examples

Example 1: Get up to 5 movies similar to a movie with rating key '12345'.

Set 'Rating Key' to '12345' and in 'Options' set 'Limit' to 5.
