Summary

Update the title and/or summary of an existing Plex playlist identified by its rating key.

Inputs

• Playlist Rating Key (required) — The unique rating key (ID) of the playlist to update.
• Update Fields — Optional fields to update on the playlist, including 'Title' (the new playlist title) and 'Summary' (the new description of the playlist).

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the updated playlist details as returned by the Plex API.

The output shape depends on the Plex API response for updating a playlist. Only the 'title' and 'summary' fields can be updated via this operation.

Examples

Example 1: Update playlist title only

Set 'Playlist Rating Key' to target the playlist and provide a new 'Title' in 'Update Fields'. 'Summary' may be left unset.

Example 2: Update both title and summary

Provide 'Playlist Rating Key' and specify both 'Title' and 'Summary' in 'Update Fields' to modify both fields.
