Summary

Send a text message through SendSeven using a recipient and channel, an existing conversation, or a contact and channel. Optionally include attachment UUIDs; multiple attachments are sent as separate messages except on Email channels, where they are sent together in one email.

Inputs

  • Authentication (required) — Choose API Key or OAuth2 credentials.
  • Addressing Mode (required) — Choose Recipient + Channel, Conversation ID, or Contact ID + Channel.
  • Channel Name or ID (required) — Required for Recipient + Channel and Contact ID + Channel. Select a channel such as WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, or Email, or provide its ID.
  • Recipient (required) — Required for Recipient + Channel; enter the recipient identifier, such as a phone number or email address.
  • Conversation ID (required) — Required for Conversation ID mode; identifies the conversation to reply to, whose recipient is resolved automatically.
  • Contact ID (required) — Required for Contact ID + Channel mode; identifies the contact to message.
  • Message Text (required) — The message content.
  • Attachment IDs — Comma-separated UUIDs of attachments created with the Attachment resource. These must be attachment IDs, not raw URLs. For multiple attachments, only the first message carries the message text; each attachment message is billed separately. Email sends all attachments together in one email, billed as one message.

Output shape

A single message record for each input item, with an array of records possible if the API returns multiple messages.

The returned record includes message and conversation IDs, channel, direction, type, text, status, recipient and sender, attachment details, creation time, and relatedMessageIds for additional messages created by multi-attachment sends. Output items are paired with their input items.
