Summary

Posts a message to a SendSeven Team Chat channel as a bot. Provide a channel UUID or name, such as #general, and message text; the channel must allow bot messages.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose API Key (default) or OAuth2 credentials.
• Channel (required) — Channel UUID or name, such as #general or general. The channel must have “Allow Bots to send messages” enabled; system channels such as #knowledgebase do not accept bot messages.
• Text (required) — Message text, 1–40,000 characters.
• Bot Name — Optional bot display name, up to 50 characters. The message uses a bot avatar regardless of this value.
• Attachment IDs — Optional comma-separated attachment UUIDs from the Attachment resource. Use this or Attachment URL.
• Attachment URL — Optional public image, video, or audio URL. SendSeven downloads it and attaches it to the message. Use this or Attachment IDs.
• Attachment Filename — Optional filename for the attachment provided by Attachment URL.

Output shape

A single item containing the API response as JSON for each input item.

The response is passed through without reshaping. Attachment IDs are split on commas and trimmed; when an Attachment URL is supplied, it is sent as an attachment object and the optional filename is included.
