Summary

Send a Team Chat direct message as a bot to the specified team member. The message can include attachment IDs or a public attachment URL, and an optional bot display name.

Inputs

• Authentication (required) — Choose API Key or OAuth2 credentials.
• User ID (required) — Plain-text ID of the team member receiving the message.
• Text (required) — Message text (1–40,000 characters).
• Bot Name — Optional display name for the bot, up to 50 characters.
• Attachment IDs — Comma-separated attachment UUIDs from the Attachment resource. Can be used instead of Attachment URL.
• Attachment URL — Public image, video, or audio URL for SendSeven to download and attach. Can be used instead of Attachment IDs.
• Attachment Filename — Optional filename for the attachment provided by URL.

Output shape

A single item containing the SendSeven API response as JSON.

The operation posts to the bot direct-message endpoint for the specified user. Bot direct messages are allowed once authenticated; no channel setting applies. If processing multiple input items, it returns one response item per input item. With Continue On Fail enabled, an item that errors returns an {"error": "..."} object.
