Summary

Create a new offer document in Xentral by specifying the mandatory customer ID and optionally providing various additional details such as document dates, addresses, financial settings, and print options.

Inputs

• Customer ID (required) — The ID of the customer (business contact) for whom the offer is created.
• Additional Fields — Optional detailed fields to customize the offer, including introduction and closing text for the document body, cost center, currency, customer reference, delivery terms, desired delivery date (including calendar week option), deviating shipping address, document address override, document date, editor ID, internal comments and designation, language code, shipping cost approval flag, payment method ID, planned order date, preferred warehouse ID, project ID, print settings (e.g. without letterhead or product text), sales representative ID, shipping method ID, tags, taxation type, alternative document title flag, validity date, and VAT ID.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the created offer, including the identifiers and all provided data fields.

The API request body is assembled based on provided inputs, with support for nested objects and collections such as addresses and print settings. Date fields expect ISO 8601 strings. Tags are parsed from comma-separated strings. Boolean fields accept true or false values. Returned data shape corresponds to the created offer resource as returned by Xentral's API.
