Summary

Create a new production order in Xentral specifying the product to produce and the quantity, along with optional details such as addresses, dates, comments, serial number preferences, project and sales order associations, tags, and print settings.

Inputs

• Product ID (to Produce) (required) — The ID of the product to produce, mapped as produceProduct.id in the API.
• Quantity (to Produce) (required) — The quantity of the product to produce, minimum value of 1.
• Additional Fields — Optional parameters including Address ID, body text, creation of serial numbers, document and production dates, internal comment and designation, material reservation and retrieval settings, preferred warehouse ID, project ID, sales order ID, flags for function test and multi-level BOM resolution, recording sub-serial numbers, stock provisioning and retrieval dates, print settings for the document, and tags as a comma-separated list.

Output shape

a single record representing the created production order

The output contains the details of the newly created production order as returned by the Xentral API. Optional fields can be added to customize the production order. The operation requires the product ID and quantity as mandatory inputs.

Examples

Example 1: Create a production order for product ID '1234' with quantity 50, setting a preferred warehouse and including internal comments.

Set 'Product ID (to Produce)' to '1234', 'Quantity (to Produce)' to '50', and under 'Additional Fields' provide 'preferredWarehouseId' and 'internalComment'.
