Summary

Sends a video file to a specified Telegram chat using a File ID, URL, or binary data.

Inputs

• chat_id (required) — Unique identifier for the target chat or username (@channelusername).
• fileSource — How to provide the file: File ID, URL, or Binary Data. Defaults to File ID.
• fileId — File ID of the video to send. Required if fileSource is 'fileId'.
• fileUrl — URL of the video file to send. Required if fileSource is 'url'.
• binaryPropertyName — Name of the binary property containing the video file. Defaults to 'data' and required if fileSource is 'binary'.
• caption — Caption for the video file.
• parse_mode — How to parse the caption (Markdown, MarkdownV2, or HTML).
• reply_markup — Inline keyboard, reply keyboard, or other reply markup as JSON.

Output shape

A single record containing the message data returned by the Telegram Bot API.

Returns the result of the API call (e.g., message ID, chat ID, video URL) in the '' field.

Examples

Example 1: Send a video from a stored File ID to a chat group.

chat_id: -1001234567890, fileSource: fileId, fileId: AAg4AB...

Example 2: Send a video from a URL to a private chat with a caption.

chat_id: 123456789, fileSource: url, fileUrl: https://example.com/video.mp4, caption: Watch this!

Example 3: Send a video from binary data to a channel.
