Summary

Send a video note message to a specified Telegram chat using a file ID, URL, or binary data.

Inputs

• Chat ID (required) — Unique identifier for the target chat or username (@channelusername).
• File Source (required) — How to provide the video note file: File ID, URL, or Binary Data.
• File ID (required) — File ID of the video note to send (required if File Source is File ID).
• File URL (required) — URL of the video note to send (required if File Source is URL).
• Binary Property (required) — Name of the binary property containing the video note file (required if File Source is Binary Data).
• Reply Markup (JSON) — Inline keyboard, reply keyboard, or other reply markup as JSON.
• Additional Fields — Optional fields such as disable notification, protect content, reply to message ID, message thread ID, disable web page preview, and allow sending without reply.

Output shape

a single message object representing the sent video note message

Returns the sent message object in JSON format. Additional optional fields can be specified. If there is an error, it is returned as a failure message unless continue on fail is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Send a video note by File ID to a chat

Provide Chat ID, set File Source to 'File ID', and enter the File ID.

Example 2: Send a video note by URL to a chat

Provide Chat ID, set File Source to 'URL', then enter the video note URL.

Example 3: Send a video note from binary data

Provide Chat ID, set File Source to 'Binary Data', and specify the Binary Property name containing the video note data.
