Summary

Estimate the cost of an AITEZA chat request by sending a prompt, model, and optional context settings to the estimate endpoint. This operation returns the estimate without generating a chat response.

Inputs

• Authentication — Use configured AITEZA OAuth2 credentials (default) or a token forwarded by an upstream AITEZA Trigger. Trigger authentication requires a valid forwarded token and a base URL from this node or the trigger.
• Prompt (required) — Prompt or question to estimate.
• Model Name or ID (required) — AI model to use for the estimate.
• Additional Fields — Optional context and request settings: connected dataroom IDs, comma-separated file, image, and web source IDs, parent or sub-dataroom context, web search, workflow ID, and timeout in minutes (default 60). The timeout controls how long the request waits.

Output shape

A single item containing the estimate endpoint response as JSON.

The request is sent as multipart form data to /api/chat/estimate. If the response is a primitive value, it is wrapped in a result field. With Continue On Fail enabled, an item containing the error message is returned for the failed input.
