Summary

Send a text message or reaction within a specific conversation in Chatwoot by specifying the account, inbox, and conversation. Supports replying to a message, sending private notes, reactions, and adding custom content attributes, with options to split long messages and add waiting delays before sending.

Inputs

• Account (required) — The Chatwoot account to use for sending the message.
• Inbox (required) — The inbox within the account to use for sending the message.
• Conversation (required) — The conversation ID where the message should be sent.
• Content — The text content of the message to send; can be empty if sending a reaction.
• Reply To — ID of the message to reply to, setting this message as a reply.
• Additional Fields — Optional parameters including whether the message is a private note, if it is a reaction, extra content attributes as key-value pairs or JSON.
• Split Message — Option to split a long message into multiple messages based on a split character.
• Split Character — The characters used to split the message when splitting is enabled (default is double newline).
• Wait Before Sending — Delay before sending each message when splitting, with options for no delay, fixed time, or dynamic based on message length.
• Wait Time (Seconds) — Fixed wait time in seconds when using fixed delay.
• Show Typing While Waiting — Shows typing indicator while waiting before sending the message.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the sent message or confirmation

If the message is split, multiple messages are sent sequentially with optional delays. The response represents the outcome of sending these message(s). Replying sets the in_reply_to attribute of the message content. Additional content attributes can modify message metadata.
