Summary

Schedules a text, media, or WhatsApp template message for a selected account and inbox, addressed by phone number, email, contact ID, or source ID. Set a future send time; optional recurrence fields can make the schedule repeat.

Inputs

• Account (required) — Select an account or enter its numeric ID.
• Inbox (required) — Select an inbox or enter its numeric ID.
• Message Kind — Choose Text, Media, or WhatsApp Template; defaults to Text.
• Recipient Type and Recipient (required) — Choose phone number, email, contact ID, or source ID, then provide the corresponding value.
• Recipient Name — Optional name used if MEGA creates a contact for the recipient.
• Content or Caption (required) — For Text, provide the message content. For Media, provide the caption; the operation also requires the input binary field name.
• Input Data Field Name (required) — For Media, name the incoming binary data field containing the attachment; defaults to data.
• Template and Template Content (required) — For WhatsApp Template, select or enter a template name and provide its mapped values. Template fields depend on the selected account, inbox, and template.
• Scheduled At (required) — Date and time when MEGA should send the message.
• Additional Fields — Optional title and recurrence settings: type, interval, weekdays (comma-separated, Sunday=0 through Saturday=6), end type, end date, and maximum occurrences.

Output shape

A single scheduled outbound message record returned by MEGA.

Media schedules upload the selected binary attachment along with the caption. Recurrence settings are optional; recurrence validation may reject incompatible or invalid values.
