Job → Get Job

AI-generated

Summary

Fetches one Upwork job through GraphQL using its ID or URL locator. The built-in query returns the job’s ID, title, description, creation and publication dates, category, skills, budget, and client details; an advanced query override can change the returned fields.

Inputs

  • Authentication — Choose OAuth2 (default) or API Token; provide the matching Upwork credentials.
  • Job (required) — Enter the job ID or select URL mode and provide an Upwork job URL. The locator value is passed as the GraphQL job ID.
  • Advanced → GraphQL Query Override — Replace the built-in GraphQL query.
  • Advanced → Variables — JSON object merged into the generated GraphQL variables; entries can override the generated job ID.
  • Advanced → Item Path — Dot path to the result in the GraphQL response. Defaults to marketplaceJobPosting; connection results with nodes or edges are unwrapped automatically.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, normally containing one job record.

Each item’s JSON has id, resource, operation, data, and _meta fields. The data field contains the extracted GraphQL result. If a custom query or item path selects an array or connection, multiple items may be emitted; an empty or missing result can produce no items. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as items containing error and itemIndex.
