Summary

Searches Upwork job postings with a GraphQL query and returns each matching job as an n8n item.

Inputs

  • Authentication (required) — Choose OAuth2 (default) or API Token and provide the corresponding credentials.
  • Search Query — Search expression sent as the GraphQL query variable; defaults to an empty string.
  • Limit — Maximum number of results requested, from 1 to 100; defaults to 25.
  • Cursor — Optional GraphQL pagination cursor sent as after.
  • Advanced: GraphQL Query Override — Replace the built-in job search query.
  • Advanced: Variables — JSON object merged into the generated GraphQL variables. Values with the same keys override generated values.
  • Advanced: Item Path — Dot path to the response value to extract; defaults to marketplaceJobPostingsSearch. Arrays and GraphQL nodes or edges connections are unwrapped automatically.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one per extracted job result.

Each item's JSON has id, resource, operation, data, and _meta fields. The built-in query requests each job's ID, title, description, creation and publication dates, category, skills, budget, and client details. A cursor is passed to the API, but the operation does not automatically fetch subsequent pages.
