Summary

Fetches an Upwork talent profile by profile ID or URL using GraphQL. Returns the profile’s ID, name, title, description, hourly rate, skills, and location by default; the advanced options can change the query, variables, or result path.

Inputs

  • Authentication — Choose OAuth2 (default) or API Token; provide the matching Upwork credentials.
  • Profile (required) — Enter the profile ID or Upwork profile URL. The selected value is passed as the GraphQL profile ID.
  • GraphQL Query Override — Replace the built-in profile query.
  • Variables — JSON object merged into the generated GraphQL variables; entries can override the generated profile ID.
  • Item Path — Dot path to the result. Defaults to talentProfile; arrays and GraphQL connections with nodes or edges are converted to output items.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one per extracted profile result.

Each item contains id, resource, operation, data, and _meta with source, fetch time, and transport. The default query returns profile ID, name, title, description, hourly rate, skills, and country/city. If the selected result is an object, it becomes one item; arrays or connection entries become multiple items. Errors stop execution unless Continue On Fail is enabled.
