Summary

Link an existing Appointment record to a specified entity type (Candidate, Contact, Company, or Job) in Bullhorn by updating the Appointment's linkage field.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose between User Credentials (Email & Password) or Enterprise Credentials (API Key) for authentication.
• Enable Operations Log — Optionally enable audit logging of this write operation to a secondary output for audit trails.
• ID (required) — The unique numeric ID of the Appointment record to be linked.
• Link to Entity Type (required) — The Bullhorn entity type to link the Appointment to: Candidate, Contact, Company, or Job.
• Link to Entity ID (required) — The numeric ID of the target entity to which the Appointment will be linked.
• Output Fields — Optional fields or fixed values to merge into each output item for extended data downstream.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated Appointment entity if linking is successful or an error item if it fails.

The output includes any additional specified Output Fields merged into the result. Enabling the Operations Log outputs audit records to a separate secondary output.

Examples

Example 1: Link Appointment ID 123 to Candidate ID 456

Provide authentication, set ID=123, select Link to Entity Type as Candidate, and Link to Entity ID=456.
