Summary

Search Placement records in Bullhorn using a Lucene query string, returning specified fields and limiting the number of results.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose between User Credentials (Email & Password) or Enterprise Credentials (API Key) for authentication.
• Enable Operations Log — Optionally emit an audit log entry for write operations (default off; does not affect read/search).
• Fields — Specify which Bullhorn fields to include in each returned Placement record; optionally rename output field names.
• Limit — Maximum number of Placement records to return (1 to 500, default 20).
• Query (required) — Lucene query string (e.g., 'name:Smith* AND status:Active') to search Placement records.
• Hide Deleted — Automatically exclude deleted or archived records by adding filtering conditions, if applicable (default true).
• Output Fields — Assign fixed or input-derived values to include in every output item, merged with the search results.

The returned records include only the specified fields with optional renaming. The maximum number of records returned respects the 'Limit' input with an upper bound of 500. Records marked as deleted or archived are excluded if 'Hide Deleted' is enabled. If 'Enable Operations Log' is on, a second output will emit audit log entries for write operations, but this search operation itself does not emit logs.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve all active placements for a specific role

Set Authentication to preferred method; set Query to filter active placements (e.g., 'status:Active'); specify Fields to return key Placement attributes; set Limit as needed (e.g., 50).

Example 2: Get Placement records including only IDs and candidate IDs

Set Query to broadly match placements (e.g., 'id:[0 TO *]'); select Fields with 'id' and 'candidateID'; set Limit to desired maximum.
