Summary

Search Contacts in Bullhorn using a Lucene query string and return specified Bullhorn fields for matching records.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose authentication method: User Credentials (Email & Password) or Enterprise Credentials (API Key). Defaults to Enterprise Credentials.
• Enable Operations Log — Optionally log each write operation to a secondary output for audit trail purposes (default: false). This does not affect search but is present for all operations consistently.
• Fields — Specify one or more Bullhorn fields to return in the output. You can rename fields by setting an output name or leave empty to use the Bullhorn field name.
• Limit — Maximum number of contact records to return (1 to 500). Defaults to 20.
• Query (required) — Lucene query string to search Contacts (e.g., 'name:Smith* AND status:Active'). Required input.
• Hide Deleted — Whether to automatically exclude deleted or archived records by adding an isDeleted filter. Default is true.
• Output Fields — Additional fields to include in every output item, merged into results.

Output shape

a list of Contact records matching the query with requested fields

Returns up to the specified limit of Contacts matching the Lucene query. Applies hideDeleted filtering if enabled by adding isDeleted:false. Field names can be renamed in the output. No pagination is described for results beyond the limit.

Examples

Example 1: Search for active contacts named 'Smith'

Set 'Query' to 'name:Smith* AND status:Active', specify desired 'Fields', set 'Limit' (e.g., 10), and enable 'Hide Deleted'.
