Summary

Export a smart document as Markdown

Inputs

• docid (required) — ID of the smart document to export
• export_page_id — Only export the specified page and its children; leave empty to export the whole document
• wait_for_export — Whether to poll until the Markdown is ready (up to 60 seconds). If disabled, only a task ID is returned.

Output shape

A string containing the exported Markdown content; if wait_for_export is false, the operation returns a task ID string instead

When wait_for_export is true the node waits up to 60 seconds for the export to complete before returning the Markdown; otherwise only the task identifier is provided for polling

Examples

Example 1: Export the entire smart document to Markdown

Set docid to the target document ID, leave export_page_id empty, keep wait_for_export as true (default). The node returns the exported Markdown text directly.

Example 2: Export a specific page and receive a task ID

Provide docid and set export_page_id to the page ID, set wait_for_export to false. The node returns a task ID string that can be polled for completion.
