Summary

Download a specific attachment file from a Zoho Recruit module record by providing the module name, record ID, and attachment ID.

Inputs

• Use Custom Module — Whether to manually specify a custom module name instead of choosing from the predefined module list.
• Module (required) — Select the Zoho Recruit module API name containing the record from which to download the attachment (ignored if using a custom module).
• Custom Module (required) — Manually enter the module API name when 'Use Custom Module' is enabled (e.g., Candidates, Contacts, Job_Openings, Interviews).
• Record ID (required) — Specify the ID of the record from the chosen module that holds the attachment.
• Attachment ID (required) — Specify the ID of the attachment file to download from the record.

Output shape

a single binary file in the workflow's binary data storage plus JSON metadata about the module, record, and attachment IDs.

The operation returns the raw binary content of the specified attachment, with automatically extracted MIME type and filename from HTTP response headers. The output includes JSON with the moduleApiName, recordId, and attachmentId, and the binary file is accessible under a 'data' property in the binary output. Multiple items can be processed in batch if input contains multiple items.

Examples

Example 1: Download an attachment from the Candidates module

Set 'Use Custom Module' to false, select 'Candidates' as Module, provide the Record ID and Attachment ID to download file.

Example 2: Download an attachment from a custom module

Set 'Use Custom Module' to true, manually enter the custom module API name, provide Record ID and Attachment ID to retrieve the attachment.
