Summary

Update a record in a specified Zoho Recruit module by providing the record ID and one or more fields with new values to modify.

Inputs

• Use Custom Module — Optionally specify a custom module API name manually instead of selecting from the module list.
• Module (required) — Select the Zoho Recruit module API name where the record resides.
• Custom Module (required) — Manually enter the module API name if using a custom module.
• Record ID (required) — ID of the record to update.
• Fields to Update (required) — Provide one or multiple fields from the record and the corresponding new values to update them.

Output shape

a list of items containing the updated record data as returned from Zoho Recruit API, one entry per successful update operation.

Fields available for update are loaded dynamically based on the selected module and record ID. The response includes the updated record properties. If the update operation fails and 'Continue on Fail' is enabled, an error message item is returned for that input item.

Examples

Example 1: Update a candidate record's status field

Select 'Record APIs' resource, 'Update' operation; choose 'Candidates' module; enter a valid Record ID; set the 'Fields to Update' to map 'Status' to the desired value.
