Summary

Create a new record in a specified Zoho Recruit module by sending a user-defined JSON request body.

Inputs

• Use Custom Module — Option to manually enter a custom module API name instead of selecting from loaded modules.
• Module (required) — Select the Zoho Recruit module API name to create the record in (shown if not using custom module).
• Custom Module (required) — Enter the custom module API name manually when 'Use Custom Module' is enabled (e.g., Candidates, Contacts).
• Request Body (JSON) (required) — The JSON object representing the record data to create, sent exactly as provided.

Output shape

A single record creation response object representing the newly created record.

Requires OAuth2 credentials to Zoho Recruit. The module to create the record in must be specified either by selecting from the module list or providing a custom module name. The JSON request body must be a valid JSON object according to Zoho Recruit's API specification for record creation.

Examples

Example 1: Create a new candidate record with specified fields.

Set 'Use Custom Module' to false, select 'Candidates' in Module, and provide candidate details JSON in 'Request Body (JSON)'.

Example 2: Create a record in a custom module named 'Job_Openings'.

Enable 'Use Custom Module', enter 'Job_Openings' as Custom Module, and provide the record data JSON.
